MOVEMENT AS PRAYER: Embodying the Sacred

with REVITAL

This four-part series is a powerful fusion of embodiment, spirituality, and creative expression—an invitation to experience movement as a living prayer. Through sacred dance, somatic ritual, and intuitive motion, we will awaken the body as a vessel of devotion and deep presence. Each class weaves together breath, rhythm, gesture, and intention, unlocking new pathways for spiritual connection, creative flow, and embodied transformation. Whether you are seeking to deepen your personal practice or explore new dimensions of somatic spirituality, Movement as Prayer offers a sacred space to move, feel, and express your divine nature.

Class 1: The Moving Temple – Awakening the Body as a Sacred Vessel

Experience movement as a path of devotion, a bridge between your inner world and your environment. In this opening session, we explore how the body as a sacred vessel can express deep reverence. Through breath, gesture, and organic movement, we’ll awaken the body's innate capacity for prayerful presence.

Class 2: The Pulse of Creation – Elemental Flow

The universe moves in rhythm, and so do we. This class dives into the primal wisdom of rhythm and dance as portals to altered states, creative flow, and deepened connection with the elements. We’ll explore how to use rhythm—both internal and external—to unlock creative expression, trance states, and the pulse of divine intelligence moving through us.

Class 3: Ritual in Motion – The Power of Somatic Invocation

Every movement carries meaning, and, when infused with intention, movement becomes ritual. In this session, we’ll explore the art of somatic invocation using gesture, posture, and embodied symbolism to amplify spiritual connection. Learn how to craft personal movement rituals that align you with your deepest intentions and open pathways for healing, clarity, and transformation.

Class 4: The Dance of Presence

This final class explores how to bring sacred movement into daily life, transforming mundane actions into moments of devotion. Through meditative movement, we’ll cultivate a practice of presence, fluidity, and deep connection with the sacred in every step.

These classes are offered on a donation basis. The suggested donation is $25 per class (paid each week).

All donations support Clearbright Way, our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to serving the global community with ongoing donation-based programs in self-healing and embodied spiritual practice.

Spring Seasonal Practice - Weekly Movement Class (60 Min - Online - LIVE

INSTRUCTOR: HELEN

Join us for four seasonally inspired, foundational movement and meditation classes for the month of February.

Experience greater peace and vitality using easy joint opening, self-care, and contemplative exercises from yoga and qigong. Harmonize with spring energy and resonate with the rhythm of natural life.

In these four classes, we’ll look at the two seasonal energy patterns (called qi nodes in ancient China) for February; Beginning of Spring and Rain Water. We’ll consider how our bodies and minds synchronize with the seasons and how this might influence our practice.

February 1: Class One - SEED

We plant the seeds of practice for the year ahead. Imagine that we are below the soil, appreciating winter’s embrace, letting the seeds of our practice germinate effortlessly. The focus will include practices for the kidneys and the ears. Introducing the qigong Five Elements theory and practicing from the viewpoint of the model called “nourishing cycle.”

February 8: Class Two - NOURISHMENT

In the month of love, we learn to give heart presence to our practice. Moving from hands to heart. Discovering how to nourish our bodies, and taking inspiration from the spiritual animal of the turtle. Focus on the organs associated with both winter and spring, the kidneys and the liver.

February 15: Class Three - NEW SHOOTS

Growing our practice. Moving more fully into the spring season, expanding, trying our voice (shouting), twisting, and freeing up our energy. Focusing on the sensory organ for spring, the eyes.

February 22: Class Four - SPRING FLOWER

Imagine our practice blossoming like a spring bulb enjoying the sun. Finding the rhythm that is just right for the season and for you. Embracing movement, opening up. We focus on the spiritual animal of spring, the dragon.

These classes are offered on a donation basis. The suggested donation is $25 per class (paid each week).

All donations support Clearbright Way, our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to serving the global community with ongoing donation-based programs in self-healing and embodied spiritual practice.

Discover the Sacred Heart of Kyoto: A One-Week Spiritual Pilgrimage

NOTICE:

The 2024 PILGRAMAGE is SOLD OUT!

If you are interested in joining us in 2025, See below for details.

Join us for a one-week spiritual pilgrimage to sacred Kyoto, where ancient traditions and serene landscapes create the perfect backdrop for deep spiritual exploration and personal growth.

We will visit a curated selection of temples and sites that hold historical relevance, and spiritual power or are imbued with unique lessons or experiences that can be supportive of our spiritual awareness and practice. Many of the sites we’ll visit will not be on the top 10 places to visit in Kyoto list. We’ve chosen these sites based on the experience and insight we want you to be exposed to.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Come away with us for a week in the incredible and culturally-rich country of Japan, where we’ll be staying in the cultural capital of Kyoto, the city with 1600 temples. The accommodations we’ve chosen are to support a more communal experience. We’re not going to a luxury resort. We’ve rented a beautiful property/complex in Higashiyama Kyoto composed of 5 homes that surround a small courtyard. There are single, double, and dorm room accommodation options to provide price ranges of access and to invite the group to connect and spend time with each other.

We’ll be teaching and sharing specific practices and principles that harmonize with being in Kyoto, its history and the sites we will be visiting. We will be doing practices at our accommodations but mostly at or near the sites we will be visiting.

SOME OF THE THEMES OF THE TRIP

  • The power of simple rituals and how it impacts our body/mind.

  • Tracking the energy and accessing the spiritual benefits of sacred sites.

  • The transformational art of Animist and Deity practices

  • Esoteric History of Japan and Kyoto

  • Shinto and Japanese Buddhist principles

  • The spirituality of Japanese tea ceremony

  • The use of nature in spiritual environments and practice.

  • And much more…

WHAT AWAITS YOU

Ancient Temples and Zen Gardens

Visit 1000 year old sacred sites and temples that hold the history, transmission and energy of spiritual practice and ritual with guides that will reveal the spiritual power, history and relevance of these sights that you won’t get from your average guide! We’ll be visiting many Buddhist, Shinto temples and shrines as well as some secret sites that are home to the wild mystics of Japan. Each visit is designed to immerse you in the peace and wisdom of these sacred spaces.

Guided Self-Cultivation Practices Connected to the History of Sacred Sites

Begin each day with guided practice sessions led by Mark and Caiyam. We’ll be engaging in practices specifically designed to help you connect deeper to the power and significance of the sights we will visit. We’ll have the opportunity to experience the power of uniting our inner practice with our environment.

Ceremonial Tea Practice

Experience the meditative beauty of the Japanese tea ceremony. Learn about the intricate rituals and spiritual significance behind this ancient practice, and enjoy the calming effects of a perfectly brewed cup of matcha.

Cultural Immersion, History and Illumination of Japan’s Hidden Spiritual Gems

Sacred Walks to Kyoto’s Power Sites

Take part in guided walks through historic Kyoto, including the sacred paths of Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of red torii gates. Feel the spiritual energy as you walk in the footsteps of pilgrims who have sought enlightenment here for centuries.

Why Join Us?

• Expert Guides: Our team of experienced spiritual guides and local experts will ensure you gain the most from every experience.

• Authentic Experiences: Engage deeply with Japanese spirituality and culture through authentic, immersive activities.

• Personal Growth: Return home with a renewed sense of purpose, inner peace, and practical tools for maintaining your spiritual practice.

Spaces are limited to ensure a personalized and intimate experience. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to embark on a transformative journey in the heart of sacred Kyoto.

Healthful food is part of the pilgrimage experience. Some meals will have an option for vegetarian, seafood, and/or meat. Ingredients are local and seasonal, and our meals will be inspired by the Japanese traditions. We'll enjoy a traditional coursed menu and some special local culinary spots.

Empowering the Nine Core Archetypes: Archetypal Parts Work for Secure Attachment

with Cain “Caiyam” Carroll

Self-Study Online Course

Art Credit: The Alchemical Wedding by
Emily Balivet

This is a nine-month in-depth process of somatic parts work (sharing common principles with Internal Family Systems, IFS). We use nine core archetypes -- universal symbols and patterns of behavior -- to ignite profound awakening, deep healing, and rewiring of the brain and nervous system.

Through a guided process of inner exploration of the Nine Core Archetypes, you will gain deeper self-understanding and switch on latent powers that enable you to heal attachment-based traumas, increase vitality, and live with a greater sense of freedom and joy.

Strengthen Your Resilience

Through embodied archetype work, you'll learn effective ways of improving poly-vagal tone to cultivate a resilient nervous system that can better adapt to life's ups and downs. Through a progressive rewiring of your inner system, you can release feelings of overwhelm and build a newfound sense of groundedness and stability.

Heal Relationship Attachment Traumas with Embodied Archetype Work

Unlock the transformative power of embodied archetype work to rewire your capacity for secure attachment in relationships, better communication, and more a fulfilling sense of connectedness.

One powerful lesson I learned in this work is that the trumatic residue that we have accumulated in our lives actually can be released if we can connect directly with our somatic experience through meditative practice. This was important for me to understand; that I can actually transform my habitual life pattern of being afraid that others will hurt me.

By coming into direct conscious relationship with my feelings and sensations, I am realizing I can love again.

An experiential journey into the Daoist spirit of Zen and the Shinto heart of ceremonial tea

The course is taught in English.

Join Gerow Reece and Cain Carroll, for this engaging weekend retreat at Zen Center Altbäckersmühle in Singhofen, Germany.

Gerow’s warm presence will welcome you into the remarkable experience of tea. Cain’s attuned guidance will lead you into an embodied exploration of key Dao-Zen principles and practices.

Together, in a circle of mutual support, we will trace historical threads to explore how the Daoist worldview, prevalent in ancient China before the arrival of Buddhism, provides key insights into the unique mindset and practice of Ch’an/Zen. With mindfully whisked bowls of matcha tea in hand, we will experience how Shinto, Japan’s indigenous spiritual culture, illuminates a deeper understanding and appreciation of Zen-Tea, human relatedness, and the sacredness of all life.

Join us in a relaxed and communal atmosphere as we integrate study, stillness, movement-based somatic practices (Qigong), and mindfulness into everyday activities.

Participants of all levels of experience are welcome.
