ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Dr. Josefa Rangel MD is a board-certified internist and fellowship-trained integrative medicine specialist. She received her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California San Francisco, and undertook fellowships at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and also recently completed training in Medical Advocacy.
Dr. Rangel has practiced integrative medicine since 2005. Seeing patients struggle in the conventional and alternative medical systems and her own deep resonance with the body’s innate capacity to heal led her to establish the Innate Medicine Clinic in 2014 in Mill Valley, California and expand to San Francisco in 2019.
Cain Carroll is a yogi, healer and author who has dedicated his life to the study and practice of radical self-healing and embodied spiritual practice. His work is informed by years of in-depth study and practice of traditional Yoga, Qigong, Buddhism, Daoism, and Classical Chinese Medicine. Cain has been a student of ageless wisdom traditions since childhood. He began his formal training at age 13 and has studied under the guidance of master teachers in India, China, Thailand, Nepal, Ecuador, Colombia and USA. In 2006, he was grandfathered in to the Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT 500 level. He is author of Partner Yoga: Making Contact for Physical, Emotional & Spiritual Growth, Mudras of India: A Comprehensive Guide to the Hand Gestures of Yoga and Indian Dance, The Four Dignities: The Spiritual Practice of Walking, Standing, Sitting and Lying Down, and creator of three instructional DVDs: Pain-Free Joints, Heal Neck & Shoulder Pain, and Digestive Power.
